Good helmet for a big head November 14, 2008 S. Clement This helmet is big enough for my giant head which is a plus. It is comfortable. The ventilation is good, although I have yet to ride in temperatures above 70 degrees. I do not have anything bad to say about this product. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend this to anyone with a large head, who wants a helmet that fits.
Excellent helmet... October 6, 2008 Lewis Simper (USA) I have this in white. I was looking for a helmet that was safe, fitted well and wasn't too expensive. I looked at the Giro Indicator (It didn't fit my head), then I saw this. After a few rides I can say this fits well, is comfortable to wear for extended periods and keeps the head cool. It's an excellent helmet.
Good buy September 18, 2008 Clay Reynolds (Lowry Crossing, TX USA) Giro Skyla Sport Bike Helmet This helmet was as advertised. I needed the extra large size, and it fit fine.
Giro Atlas II Helmet September 6, 2008 John Parkinson (Kansas City) The helmet is great! I actually had this thing on order from a local bike shop and had waited over 4 weeks for their shipment to come in, finally I ordered it from Amazon and had it in 3 days. I should have done that sooner. It was just a couple of bucks more because of shipping, but I had been riding without one every weekend and was very happy to finally have my helmet when I was riding down those hills a high speeds - definately a good buy.
good LARGE helmet for big melons August 1, 2008 Kevin Cheng (Buffalo, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
a helmet is a helmet, be at $200+ Giro Ionos, or $35 Giro Atlas II, they protect your head the same. They all have to pass USA helmet safety certification, to be sold in the country. However, for the unfortunate ones with large melon above their neck, This is your only answer(other brand also makes XL helmets). Very comfortable, just like my old Giro Ventoux used from 1994 to 2008.
