Works just like a standard tube, much lighter than a thorn-proof tube. I put it in my daughter's bike for use at UC Davis (she rides a lot). So far, so good. She's been riding on it for a month.

I replaced both of our bike tires with these in hope that they do what they say. A month has passed and so far so good. My daughter rides her bike for a paper route so the tires get a lot of miles on them. Only thing I would add is that if you puncture-proof strip that you can be placed between the tube and tire. That is an added protection. For the price difference these are well worth it. I would like to read of review of someone who has had a leak which the sealant inside the tire prevented a replacement.
